Outstanding success for young equestrians

GEORGINA Macintyre and Justin Boyle from Scone Grammar School were both awarded first place in their equestrian disciplines at the Interschool Championships at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre recently.

Georgina was awarded first place the Junior Combined Training 80cm, she also came second and fifth in the Equitation 80cm.

Georgia also won third place in the Overall Combined Training and came fourth in the Junior Newcomers One Day Event.

She has qualified for the National Championships.

Justin placed first in the B grade Individual Male Vaulting class.

These classes comprise of two rounds – one found of compulsory exercises and one freestyle round.

Justin has also qualified for the nationals.

Emily O’Donnell, Sam and Ashley Randle also achieved personal bests amongst strong competition from across the state.
