She is a young girl who truly lives and breathes dancing so it was no surprise Kiah Eeles performed outstandingly at the recent Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter Eisteddfod.

The Aberdeen teenager performed in seven different dance categories and came away with six first places and one second, an achievement to be proud of.
Her local effort backed up Kiah’s recent success at the Gunnedah Eisteddfod last month where she also performed in the top bracket of the competition winning seven categories and placing second in another.
The Scone High School year 10 student has been dancing since she was just six-years-old and continued her passion after moving to the Upper Hunter by joining dance with Kayla Marshall in 2012.
She currently dances at Empire Dance Studio in Singleton under teachers Kayla and Kelsie Heuston, who is the principle and owner of the studio.
Although her favourite genres are jazz and contemporary, Kiah proved her all round talent with her results at Muswellbrook, which included first in the solo jazz ballet with 86 points, first in the solo modern expressive/contemporary with 86 points, first in the solo modern improvisation with 84 points, first in the solo jazz ballet improvisation with 87 points, first in the solo student own choreography with 86 points, first in the solo contemporary with 81 points and second in the solo cabaret with 83 points.
Throughout the past years, Kiah has danced at competitions at Narrabri, Gunnedah, Singleton and Muswellbrook.
Kiah seems to have passed her talents onto her seven-year-old sister who is also dancing successfully.
