Some 688 students and 780 horses from across the state converged on the small town for the annual horse sports expo, which has been running for more than 20 years. 

The local students brought home truckloads of ribbons, topped off by winning the Champion Team of Four Riders for the second consecutive years. 

All on board their  Australian Stock Horses, the team consisted of family Anna, Katrina and Nicholas Wilson and Rachel Pittman. 

Other achievements were first time competitor Darcy Pittman gained fourth in the combined training event. 

Her sister Rachel placed third in combing training and first in the pair riders. 

Talented young rider Campbell Jones placed 11th in the combined training and his younger sister Matilda Jones was third in the pony hack, second in the girl rider, reserve champion girl rider, first in the equestrian hack and first in the keyhole.

Along with his team of four success, Nicholas  Wilson placed second in the galloway hack and first in the pair riders.

Anna Wilson gained a  second in the Australian Stock Horse Challenge, third in the girl rider, first in the keyhole, second in the time trial, second in the flag race, first in the pair riders, fifth in the combined training and reserve champion 16 years sporting horse.

Sister Katrina Wilson won the Australian Stock Horse Challenge, won the galloway hack, champion galloway hack, first in the pair riders, third in the equestrian hack, second in the barrel race, second in the bending race, seventh in the combined training and champion 14 year girls pointscore
