The first half was a tough affair with Quirindi going into the break leading 7-0.
Our newest Indian import Junaid Jan showed his strength slotting into the second row in only his second game.
The Quirindi side gathered momentum after the break with their consistent backing up scoring another three tries.
The boys came close to scoring on a few occasions but just couldn’t get their timing together losing the ball close to the line.
The backs struggled with combinations all game, but our lineout had it all over the opposition.
Our scrum remained stable throughout the game with the boys regularly pushing the Quirindi scrum backwards.
Lachlan Holz worked hard all game tackling everything in sight and Luke Duncan covered brilliantly at fullback.
Our attack often looked disjointed and if we could just get all hands on deck and continuity happening we can beat any side in this competition.
Our final game of the regular season is at Brumby Park this Saturday at 12.30pm against the Magpies.
It will be Ladies Day so ladies come and support the lads.
