A relaxed weekend of campdrafting was experienced at Murrurundi last weekend when the annual Murrurundi Bushman’s Carnival was held.

Two days of action saw competitors take to the course in the junior events, maiden, novice, open and ladies drafts.
More than 300 runs were witnessed as well as the finalists who battled it out on Sunday.
Murrurundi Bushman’s Carnival secretary Debbie Eather said the weekend went off really well.
Eather thanked all of the cattle donors including Tony Haggarty, the Paradice family and Rob Scott, as well as the announcers and extras who stepped in to help and their generous sponsors.
“Thank you to the judges, competitors, committee and extra volunteers that also stepped in to help.”
