There were angry Indians and cocky cowboys, and many other great costumes disguising the guests at an annual thank you and Christmas celebration hosted by Scone’s Russ Lazarus.
The Wild West and Bonanza Redlands themed function was held at Scone RSL Club to thank the members of the Scone community who contribute to making it a better place.
About 80 people gathered for the event where Mr Lazarus also presented four Sutton Farm Foundation Awards to people in the community recognising them for their outstanding commitment.
This year Mr Lazarus gave accolades to the Scone and Upper Hunter Historical Society, the St Luke’s Walter Pye Hall Guild, Anne McMullin and Cate Fraser for their commitment to the history of Rouchel and the White family of Belltrees.
Again, Mr Lazarus thanked his little angels from Quality Care and Integrated Living who assist him and his wife each and every day, and are a very special part of their lives.
One carer, Patricia Kennedy-Wood, also provided an outstanding vocal performance on the microphone to compliment the Mexican singer who entertained throughout the evening.
