Matt Smart and Conor Edwards, both 13, will join a 24 man squad to train with NIAS training specialist coaches at various sessions around the Northern Inland Zone.
The Scone boys will receive skill and team development, high level coaching support and life skill workshops.
This will culminate in a tour at the end of the programme to Sydney to play other academies.
This NIAS programme is a pathway to the Australian Rugby Union’s Junior Gold Cup and programme which is a national competition for Under 15 and Under 17-year-olds.
Scone Junior Rugby Union Club president Michelle Edwards said the selection highlights the continuing strength of the Scone Junior Rugby Club.
“What a wonderful achievement, so many of our players are achieving at high levels,” she said.
“This demonstrates the strength in our club and hard work over the past few years.
“The boys have earned this reward.”
