Tom Vincent and Taylor Holland-Wright represented the Scone Rugby Union Club in the Central North Under 20s side that played in the Border Cup in Inverell in recent weeks.
Vincent is a long term player for Scone and has been playing representative football since Under 16s.
He was selected to take the position of hooker for the match.
Former Bingara Rats player Holland-Wright has made the move to Scone this year after moving to the area and has been welcomed to the club with enthusiasm.
He played the position of inside centre for the Central North side and has also played representative football previously including with the New England representative team in last year’s competition.
The Central North side matched up against Darling Downs and unfortunately struggled a bit with form, going down 31-7 to the Queenslanders, however they still put up a strong performance for a team that has had very little field time together.
Next on the agenda is a game against New England on Sunday, April 19, before the NSW Country Champion-ships hosted by Bowral Rugby Club on May 2 and 3.
