The trials were held at East Rossgole, near Aberdeen on Sunday, May 10 as part of the Scone and Upper Hunter Horse Festival program.
Zac Ede was the judge for both categories - the novice and open.
Each category had two rounds each, with all the competitors reeling in points to place in the top five.
In the novice trial, Fred Cook took fifth position with Roy on 57 points and Will Harvey was in fourth place with Alf finishing with 58 points.
Second and third place was taken out by Kevin Bell, with Abbey who came second with a total of 116 points and Monty who came third with 109 points.
Mr Cook also claimed first with his furry companion, Meg, on a final score of 129 points.
The open category was a close competition with Kevin Bell placing fifth with Monty grabbing 107 points and Fred Cook and Meg taking fourth place on 117 points.
Harvey and Alf stole third place by one point with a total of 118 points.
Ben Crowe achieved second and first place with Kenny grabbing 122 points, and scoring 135 points was Titus.
