There will be many teams of horses and players from across the district competing across different levels from A Grade, down to Under 16 and Under 12.
The carnival will run over two days - Saturday and Sunday - with play starting at 8am on both days.
You’ll find all the action and entertainment you could need for the weekend at ‘Rosebrook’, 359 Wybong Road, Muswellbrook.
There will be a DJ and bonfire Saturday night and some action-packed finals on Sunday starting at around 11am.
Come along and cheer on your local teams who are in pretty good form at the moment.
That recent form was on show last weekend, when the troupe of local Bunnan polocrosse players travelled to Cassilis with six teams.
The G Grade men’s team of Michael Hockings, Stephen Sinderberry, Des Hunt, Eddie Rossington, Pete Carrigan and Tom Rossington were runner up in their grade with Stephen getting a Best No 2 prize.
The Bunnan Junior’s team of Mitch Wamsley, Clancy Martin, Leah Wilson, Campbell Rose, Jillian Rose and Anastasia Martin cleaned up and ran out winners.
Mitch was awarded Champion Junior Australian Stock Horse, Champion Junior Horse and Rider and Best No 1, while Jillian got Best No 2 and Leah got Best No 3.
The Sub-junior (Under 12) team of Nicole Martin, Candy Brooker, Emily Wamsley, Angus Rose and Toby Brooker had a fantastic weekend and were runner up in the B Grade competition.
Candy was awarded Best No 2 and Emily got the Encouragement Award.
