The weather briefly halted the program on Wednesday, but fortunately we were able to go back on the green and finish our games and Thursday remained fine enough for the full program to be completed.
We sincerely wish to thank our sponsors for your very generous support for the carnival.
Your donations were very much appreciated by our members.
We also wish to thank the members Pauline Beckingham, Wendy McKenzie, Judith Stephens, Val Crandell, Edie Adams and Betty Hart who weren’t playing, but worked for the two days to make everything run smoothly.
Congratulations to the winning teams:
First: Diane Pund, Marian Bettens and Sandra Graham – Scone.
Second: Marie Miller, Marlene Brossi and Lorraine Collins - South Tamworth.
Third: Anne Collins, Fran Hamilton and Sharon Walsh - Quirindi.
Fourth: Janine Katon, Kathy Deguera and Karen Englet - Aberdeen.
Best performed in individual games: Wednesday morning - Rebecca McLoughlin, Joan Harrison and Cheryl Walmsley.
Wednesday afternoon - Helen Medhurst, Thelma McGuiness and Bettina Wilson.
Thursday first game - Barbara McPhee, Glenda McCosker and Norma Holland, second game - Dawn Asimus, Barbara Cullen and Pam Watson.
Our annual meeting is on June 2 and membership needs to be paid on or before that date.
A plate for afternoon tea after the meeting would be appreciated.
Anyone interested in joining is welcome to come the meeting, and join us for afternoon tea afterwards.
The list is on the board for names for the Scone Association Day on June 3.
