About 25 young males and females gathered at Elizabeth Park in Scone for the fun and adventurous day.
Newcomers and interested children were able to enjoy fun activities with current Scout members and the very supportive Scout leaders.
According to 1st Scone Scout Group leader Greg Morris a great day was had by all with great weather and lots of fun and games.
Mr Morris said some of the activities the youngsters enjoyed included making rockets, sock wrestling, four corner volleyball and land sled races.
“Thanks to the Upper Hunter Men’s Shed for making the land sleds with wheels supplied by Scone Outdoor Products,” he said.
Mr Morris welcomed any children interested in joining joeys, cubs or scouts.
