The junior boys relay team has qualified to represent the school and the region at the state carnival to be held at Homebush in October.
The team of Riley Pennell, Brock Shone, Charlie Richardson and Archie Brooker won the event at the regional carnival last Friday.
Pennell also successfully competed to place second in the 10 years boy 100 metres, so he will also compete in that event at state.
A total of 11 students from Scone Public School competed at the Hunter Regional Athletics Carnival, which was held at the Hunter Sports Centre at Glendale on August 28.
