OFFICERS are investigating an armed robbery in Scone after staff were threatened by a man brandishing a shotgun on Friday morning.

The man entered ANZ bank on Kelly St at about 11.15am before being handed an unknown amount of cash.
He fled the scene in a blue vehicle, which was last seen heading west on Kingdon Road.
The man is described as being of a large build, wearing a blue hooded jumper with grey long pants, white joggers, and a black and grey-coloured camouflage-pattern hooded jacket.
He was carrying a green bag.
None of the staff were injured in the incident.
An ANZ spokesman said the Scone branch would be closed for the rest of the day.
"Our primary concern is providing the support necessary to our staff and customers and will be making sure they have access to counselling services," he said.
Detectives from Hunter Valley Local Area Command are conducting inquiries and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
