One of the largest female sporting events in the Southern Hemisphere, the championships attracted more than 3500 athletes from 294 teams across the state last year.
The cost for four teams and a manager to participate in the competition is $35,000, with the major expense being travel and accommodation.
Scone has a team in each age group competing in divisions three and four at the championships over the weekend of July 2-4.
To offset the costs, the local association has coordinated fundraising efforts through a netball coaching clinic, golf day, and Cadbury chocolate initiative.
McDonald’s Scone is also offering 10 per cent of all sales generated this Monday night between 6-7pm to assist with the expenses.
Meanwhile, the under-17s and open’s representative teams are taking part in the Netball NSW State Championships at Newcastle during the June long weekend.
