Members of the Scone and District Cancer Support Group are set to pound the pavements as part of Daffodil Day on Friday, August 26.
This year, stalls will be located inside the Coles building and also in front of the Reject Shop on Kelly Street.
Volunteers will look to sell all fresh cut flowers and merchandise, including pens, pins, bears, mini footballs, and more from 8am to 4pm.
They will be walking the streets of Scone and visiting as many business houses as possible to raise funds.
Scone and District Cancer Support Group member Cath Coady encouraged everyone to support the cause.
“Even if you can only spare $2, it all adds up and is all appreciated,” she said.
Mrs Coady said the group raised about $8000 in 2015 and hope to raise just as much this year/
However, they do realise times are hard at present.
She said group members would be wearing yellow shirts or aprons, making them easily identifiable when approaching people.
All funds raised on Daffodil Day go directly to the Cancer Council to assist with research into a cure for cancer.
