The 17-year-old rising equestrian star was tragically crushed to death by her family’s horse Coriolanus in March, forcing the event to be postponed.

Coriolanus tripped on a fence less than halfway into a cross country course at ‘Broomfield’, near Gundy, and was later euthanised due to its catastrophic injuries.

Scone Horse Trials president Blair Richardson said the past few months had been extremely difficult but he was proud of the committee’s efforts.

“Obviously the tragedy with Olivia did affect the committee, however, there was plenty of support from local sponsors and everyone got behind this event,” he said.

“It was quite a nerve-wracking experience for the committee, but there was a lot of positive feedback and the competitors really enjoyed it.

“We had a minute’s silence at the presentation to remember Olivia and spare a thought for the Inglis family.”

Mr Richardson added a number of local riders impressed across the five different grades.

“The weather on Saturday wasn’t quite what we’d hoped for but the dressage and showjumping still went ahead in the rain,” he said.

“We were very lucky on Sunday as the sun came out for the cross country.

“Quite a few of our locals did well including Robyn Walsh and Charlie Richardson.”

Jess Somerfield placed first in the Vinery Stud Eva 45 Open ahead of Jordan Priest and Shelley Chaundy.

The Yarraman Park Stud Eva 45 Amateur was won by Robyn Walsh, with Brenna Bartley second and Tanya Bartlett third.

The Scone Equine Hospital Eva 45 Junior went to Orla Sheridan, who held off Madeline Breatnach and Eden Kautz.

Candace Boyton took out the International Animal Health Products Eva 60 Open while Stevie-Jade Shakoff finished second and Emma Bishop came third.

The Two Rivers Winery Eva 60 Amateur went to Simone Smith ahead of Natalie Cooper and Margaret Lane.

Harriet King placed first in the Scone Advocate Eva 60 Junior, with Molly Tillett and Jesse Cooper rounding out the top three spots.

In the Equilaw Eva 80 Open, Siobhan Walker claimed first place while Emma Bickley and Lyndel Taylor were second and third respectively.

The Sledmere Stud Eva 80 Amateur was won by Andrew Hindmarsh. Second place went to Elsa Ribal-Vigneau and Lara Dombrovskis picked up third.

The Scone Race Club Eva 80 Junior was claimed by Kyarne Sampson, who beat nearest rivals Estelle Chown and Thomas Irwin.

Siobhan Walker had another win in the Morgans Stockbroking Scone Eva 95 A, with Tracey Boyle in second and Brianna Matthews coming third.

Walker also picked up the Upper Hunter Shire Council Eva 95 B crown ahead of Blair Richardson and Deborah Kelley.

The Hold Ya Horses Eva 95 Junior went to Charlie Richardson. Olivia Barrett and Anna Roper came second and third respectively.

The Coolmore Australia Eva 105 A & Inglis & Horsezone was won by Natalie Brett ahead of Susan Burnheim and Karen Irwin.
