With a steady flow of traffic already on its way to Tamworth, managers Carol and Doug McIntosh are eager to welcome more visitors.
Mrs McIntosh said there was often up to a 50 per cent increase of guests on some nights throughout the festival.
“Guests are either staying for one or two nights on their way to the festival, or they are staying at the caravan park and driving into Tamworth on specific days,” she said.
“Some people need a break now and again from the music and the hype.”
Mrs McIntosh added the business had also enjoyed an extremely busy holiday period.
“It’s definitely been busier than this time last year,” she said.
“There has been a 100 per cent increase over Christmas and New Year’s compared to 2015, and people tend to stay a bit longer.
“They like coming here because they know it’s quieter than the coastal parks.”
The Tamworth Country Music Festival will go from January 20-29.
