Carnival coordinator Marika Eveleigh is pleased with preparations and cannot wait till the action starts.
“We have schools from Farrer in Tamworth through to Singleton, while Merriwa is entering a side this year in the 14s,” she said.
Action kicks off at 8.30am with full canteen, barbecue and coffee van available.
There will also be some delights for shoppers this year with Zibara Sports, Scone Sports Store and the Men of League having merchandise tents set up.
“This day does not go ahead without the generous volunteers, plus the assistance from the NRL Development team, Scone Old Boys, Group 21 referees and, of course, the tremendous support from our local schools,” Eveleigh added.
So, if you want to see some classy rugby league, get down to Scone Park this weekend.
