More than 500 children converged on Scone Park, with some of the visiting schools including St Joseph’s High School Aberdeen, Merriwa Central School and Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School in Tamworth.
Scone Junior Rugby League’s Jamie Munn said it was another successful day.
“It helps with juniors’ development and gives them a chance to play for their school,” he said.
“I’d like to thank all of our volunteers who helped on the day including the Scone Old Boys, the NRL development team, Men of League, Scone Lions Club, our 10-year veterans Bob Barker and Marika Eveleigh, the referees, those who assisted at the canteen, and all of our sponsors.
“It’s a great day to come and watch junior rugby league and we’ll look to reinvigorate it next year.
