The 2017 Kia-Ora Youth Music Camp, which was held from March 22-24, saw students rehearse with tutors and conductors in preparation for a finale concert at Scone High School.
The event on Friday night was sold-out, with more than 350 people in attendance.
Highlights this year were the Amazing Voice competition, the Kawai Piano workshop and the Tyke-Oh Japanese Drumming program.
The camp was offered to students from Year 3-12 at schools across the Upper Hunter.
It is an excellent opportunity for budding musicians, as well as those who wish to try something new in the creative arts area.
The music camp encourages young talent and motivates them to develop music in their lives by providing awards and scholarships.
Sponsors for the event were Kia-Ora Estates Pty Ltd, the Paradice Family, Newgate, KAWAI, National College of Dance Newcastle, Upper Hunter Conservatorium of Music and Upper Hunter Shire Council.
