More than 50 competitors took to Scone Golf Course, with visitors coming from around the Hunter Valley, Merriwa, Mudgee and Quirindi.
Results from the event will be printed in the Advocate next Thursday.
In other news, the men will play an 18 Hole Stroke/Stableford for the Scone RSL Group Monthly Mug on Saturday.
It is also the first round of the President’s Trophy. Round one of the Kevans Knockout needs to be played by April 15.
The third round of the HRDGA ladies pennant will be played at The Vintage on Monday, April 3 with the Scone team playing Branxton.
