Ove is the quintessential angry old man next door.
He is an isolated retiree and widower with a short fuse, who spends his days enforcing resident’s association rules and visiting his wife's grave.
Ove has given up on life, until a boisterous young family moves in next door.
From an inauspicious beginning an unlikely friendship forms and we come to understand Ove's past happiness and heartbreaks.
What emerges is a funny, surprising and heart-warming tale, as we slowly learn Ove’s story.
This little gem of a film reminds us that life is sweeter when it's shared.
This award-winning movie won the European Film Award for Best European Comedy and was nominated for an Oscar.
It has also received much acclaim, with the critics’ website Rotten Tomatoes rating it 91 per cent.
