The well-respected and highly-regarded member of the community died last Friday at the age of 90.
His funeral will take place on Monday from 10am.
“We lost one of our most valuable Lions,” Mrs Musumeci said.
“Jim was with our club for 56 years – and a Charter member.
“It won’t be the same without him.”
Upper Hunter Shire Councillor Kiwa Fisher and Lions International Zone 10 chairman Mick McCrone also offered their respects.
“Jim was a treasured member of the community,” Cr Fisher said.
“He will be sorely missed,” Mr McCrone added.
More than 40 people attended the Scone RSL Club for the changeover, including guests from Muswellbrook Lionesses, Scone Rotary and Friends of Strathearn.
“I’d like to thank all Lions members, who have assisted in the past 12 months, for their hard work and dedication,” Mrs Musumeci said.
“Due to their effort, we have been able to raise sufficient funds to make donations to a number of local charities.
“With only a small number in our club, it is through the commitment of the present members that we can continue with our fundraising.”
After supporting Lions Hearing Dogs, Lions Eye Health Program, Lions NSW Save Sight, Hunter Life Education, Lions Cord Blood Foundation, ALDAF (Australian Lions Drug & Alcohol Foundation), Scone High School, St Mary’s Primary School, Scone Grammar School, Strathearn Village Carols, Scone Legacy Group plus many more throughout the year, further donations were presented to TransCare (home assistance), council’s Young Endeavour Scheme, Scone 1st Scouts, Scone Girl Guides, Scone Public School’s Breakfast Club and Where There’s A Will Foundation on Wednesday night.
