The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was able to land on Sunday morning at a location close to where the trio was uncovered following a search on Saturday night.
A spokesman for the service said the people – two males and a female – had become disorientated on a walk.
“They were all cold but uninjured, while a NSW Ambulance Paramedic spent the night with them after being winched into the location,” he said.
“He provided warmth and snacks for them to eat until the helicopter could get back to them at first light this morning.
“The group of three, and Minnie, were very grateful to the paramedic for his company and compassion, staying with them through the night.”
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter conducted a search near the Barrington Tops, locating the walkers late on Saturday night in a heavily-timbered area at an altitude of 4500 feet above sea level.
The aircraft winched in a NSW Ambulance paramedic with survival equipment to the location, as they appeared to be suffering from hypothermia.
The team then passed on the coordinates to ground crews to try and access them through the night.
