But, last Thursday night, the team dished up a meal with a difference.
The crew from Scone volunteered and donated food, as well as their time, to cook dinner for 50 people at Ronald McDonald House – Newcastle, which is located at John Hunter Hospital.
“It’s a terrific facility that provides a retreat for parents and children in time of need,” local licensee Daniel Zammit said.
“And, many families from the Upper Hunter have utilised Ronald McDonald House when they have required it most.
“Belinda and I were honoured to be able to give back.
“We’re just so appreciative of our staff who volunteered.
“It was truly a great experience to see such happy smiling faces.”
