Since it was established in 2000, the Upper Hunter event has been growing, much to the delight of organisers.
Committee president Charles Cooke said it was great to see children learning about the Celtic tradition from a young age.
“What we’re attempting to do is preserve the Scottish culture within the community,” he said.
A range of attractions are sure to pull crowds, including highland dancing, the National Tug-of-War championships, and the Tartan Warriors. Gates will open at Jefferson Park on Saturday, at 8am, and those who buy tickets online prior to the event will receive a $5 discount.
