The popular event will take place at the Scone Bowling Club on Thursday, October 12.
Over the years, the benefit has attracted more than 30 line-ups and TransCare CEO Alan Gordon expects 2017 to be no different.
“This is our major fundraising event,” he said.
“We’re a local not-for-profit organisation in Scone that provides support and services to people living in the Upper Hunter and Muswellbrook shires.
“We assist those who experience difficulty in carrying out daily activities like cooking, cleaning, shopping and attending medical or social appointments.
“Our organisation is dedicated to making these services available in the community, but we need help to do this.
“This year the funds raised will be dedicated to supporting our TransClub program.
“Each month we organise an activity for clients, from sing-a-longs or first aid refreshers to day trips around the region.
“The focus is on keeping participants physically and socially active within the community.”
Mr Gordon said he appreciated the support of the business community who generously supplied the organisation with exciting raffle and auction items for the Barefoot Bowls Charity Night.
“We’re seeking donations of prizes [for the raffles] and an auction, which takes place on the evening,” he explained.
“Tax deductible cash donations will also be put directly towards improving our community service.”
