A free Motorised Scooter Information session has been organised by the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre (SNRC) and Upper Hunter Shire Council to address road safety.

The session will take place at 10.30am, Monday August 7 at the Council Chambers, 135 Liverpool Street, Scone.
Lee Watts, Manager of the SNRC said that the free information session follows on from their recent round table chat with scooter users.
“Speakers include Upper Hunter Shire Council and Police representative covering topics such as footpaths to essential services, future improvements for scooter users as well as safety on the road and road rules for scooter users,” Mrs Watts said.
Mrs Watts has invited scooter users, potential users, carers and anyone else that the information will assist to be a part the day.
The session will be free of charge with morning tea provided on arrival.
