On August 6, between 2am and 3am, the 21-year-old was driving a white Nissan Pulsar and parked it outside a residence in Coolibah Street, Scone.
He intended to stay the night at a friend’s house located in Koala Street.
However, due to his level of intoxication, he went to the rear door of a wrong house and awoke the residents.
Realising he was at the wrong address, the man then left the location on foot and walked out into the street.
The resident contacted police and notified them that the accused was in a small white Nissan Pulsar and drove around the corner with his lights off.
Police arrived a short time later and located the vehicle.
The man was located nearby, hiding between vehicles.
Police immediately recognised the accused from a vehicle stop two hours prior, in which he was a passenger – and the driver of that vehicle was charged with PCA.
Officers conducted a breath test on the man, which returned a positive reading.
He was arrested and conveyed to Scone Police Station for the purpose of a breath analysis.
He then registered 0.137 grammes of alcohol in 210 litres of breath.
The man’s licence was immediately suspended.
Disqualified driver
A MUSWELLBROOK man will appear before Scone Local Court next month on a number of charges.
About 12.58am on August 6, the 35-year-old drove a white Toyota Hilux dual cab ute in a west bound direction along Liverpool Street in Scone and had two passengers in the vehicle with him.
The accused came under the notice of police when driving past a fully-marked police vehicle.
Officers conducted a U-turn and attempted to stop the man.
He tried to evade police by taking the first available left onto a one way street, Kingdon Street.
The entry into the street had two clear signs displayed “no entry” and the accused proceeded through.
Police followed and the man took the next available left into a dead end car park.
H then attempted to exit from the motor vehicle.
Police directed him to stop and he complied with the request.
He was submitted to a breath test that returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Scone Police Station where he was submitted to a breath analysis, which returned a result of 0.099 grammes of alcohol in 210 litres of breath.
He was charged with driving with mid-range concentration of alcohol, disqualified driving and disobey “no entry” sign.
