More than a hundred festival-goers enjoyed delicious food and a range of award-winning short films on Saturday September 16.
There was a real buzz for the evening session as everyone had the opportunity to meet the film guests.
Those in attendance dressed up, arriving early to walk the red carpet.
The evening was a celebration of Australian film talent, with local film-goers joined by guests from Tamworth, Newcastle and Sydney.
Actor Peter McAllum, Director and Writer Andrew Lee, and Producer Kiki Dillon – all from Sydney – chatted with the audience and posed for photographs.
All were first time guests at the festival and visitors to Scone.
Guests praised the enthusiasm of the audience and the and breadth of the program.
“The evening was really well presented and we enjoyed it very much,” Richard Minards from Moonan Brook said
“It was a wonderful presentation and the Scone Films organisation does an excellent job,” Mr Minards said.
Petra Ritter of Scone was the winner of the lucky door prize – a year’s subscription to Scone Films screenings.
Filmgoers at the Sunday morning encore screening enjoyed a delicious morning tea before the films.
