The annual Bloom Markets Twilight Market and Food Fiesta is all set for Saturday November 4.

And, it is promising to be one of the best yet – with a new group of organisers and stall spots filling fast.

“With only two weeks to go, there are already 30 stalls on board, but we are still looking to fill some spots,” Scone Public School P&C Association committee member Laura Stevenson said.

“Anyone interested is encouraged to send in their applications quickly to ensure they don’t miss out.”

The event, run by the school’s P&C, raises money for upgrades to the back playground.

After the success of the last market, which riased over $5,800 for the school, the committee are expecting the same result again.

“The school is also matching us dollar for dollar to help us meet our target,” Ms Stevenson said.

Since they were first established a few years ago, the markets have bloomed in size and popularity.

Jewellry, clothing, hand-made goods and artisan canine treats are just a few of the many goods on offer.

“It’s much more than food and markets sales with a raffle and children’s entertainment available including a free obstacle course,” Ms Stevenson said.

The Rural Fire Service have agreed to come on site to provide the small obstacle setting, which will no doubt be a hit with the young ones.

“We are also super excited to have Toybox joining us again, providing plenty of fun activities and Amy’s School of Dance performing throughout the day.

“There will be ice-cream, hot food and desserts and the canteen will be in full-swing for the evening as well as Caffe Mobilita so parents can have their coffee fix.”

The afternoon will wrap up with a free outdoor screening of the movie “Moana” for the whole family to enjoy.

“We encourage everyone to bring picnic blankets and chairs for the screening, which was generously provided by the Bell family.”

“We would also like to thank Osborn's Transport, Scone Equine Hospital and Kitchwin Hills Stud for supporting the event,” Ms Stevenson said.

The Bloom Markets run from 3pm to 8pm at Scone Public School and everyone is welcome to attend.
