The Breakers fielded five teams – the Under 10, 12 and 14 boys and Under 10 and 12 girls.
The Under 10's made it through to the semi-finals, with Scone Touch Football’s David Casson congratulating them on a job well done.
“All teams were competitive on the day with this carnival, for many players, being their first experience,” he said.
“All coaches, players and supporters are to be congratulated.”
Five referees also represented the Breakers at the Championships.
“Where there are carnivals, you must have referees and the Scone contingent had a particularly good day,” Mr Casson said.
Jen Ollerton, her daughters, Chloe and Leah and Harry Tye attended the Level 2 upgrade course on the night before the carnival.
“This was the first carnival for all four,” Mr Casson said.
“Their efforts and capabilities on the field were recognized and rewarded when they were all presented with their Level 2 Badges.
“It was a fantastic achievement not only themselves but the Scone Breakers Club.”
With potentially six levels to be achieved as a touch referee, the group are already off to a great start.
Mr Casson, who already has a State Level 4 badge, was the Referred Team Leader on the day and was awarded one of the refereeing positions in the under 18 Girls Grand Final.
