THE Railway Hotel will certainly be rocking this weekend to assist the NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) and Red Cross Disaster Relief. Nine musical acts are scheduled to perform at the Muswellbrook premises' Barbie for the Brave fundraiser on Saturday, February 8. Hayley Franklin, Mahli Cavanagh, Imogen Hall, Shyanne Irwin, Worm Juice, 7am Bourbon, Kyda Rock, Carrot Bowen and The Collective and Lucky Day will take to the stage from 3pm, providing a fantastic afternoon and evening of entertainment for the community. It's the second event the popular watering hole has hosted in the past month to help NSW RFS brigades in the region, following a pool competition in January. On that occasion, Kayuga benefitted to the tune of $3042.50. "We just want to do our bit," Railway Hotel owner Greg Smith said. "It all kicks off at 3pm and costs $5 entry, with children under the age of five admitted free. "We'll have a jumping castle, as well as face painting by Sparkles the Clown, and Spider-Man to entertain the kids. "For the adults, there will be an array of talented local artists. "A raffle and sausage sizzle (from 5pm) is part of the program, too." The event is expected to wrap up about 11pm, with a courtesy bus available for patrons from 7pm. 3.15pm: Hayley Franklin 3.50pm: Mahli Cavanagh 4.25pm: Imogen Hall 5.15pm: Shyanne Irwin 6pm: Worm Juice 6.55pm: 7am Bourbon 7.50pm: Kyda Rock 8.55pm: Carrot Bowen and The Collective 9.50pm: Lucky Day
