AN interesting array of talents and gifts will headline a Skills Auction to raise funds for a new neighbourhood centre in Scone.

And, the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre (SNRC) staff and committee have welcomed the support from the community, organisations and businesses to achieve that goal.
“The money will go towards relocation but continue to provide and increase the programs and services offered to residents,” manager Lee Watts said.
“We are organising a Skills Auction, where individuals donate a skill that they believe will raise funds.
“Those received and confirmed to go under the hammer on Saturday, November 12, include a morning at Cressfield Stud during breeding season and afternoon at the races as an owner with Wayne Bedggood; term ballet/jazz lessons thanks to Amy’s School of Dance; joy flight from Alan Gordon; oil and pencil canvas by Andrew Davis, Aberdeen Men’s Shed; financial planning, insurance and mortgage review by Ausure; gym membership, Anytime Fitness; photo shoot, Magic Lantern Photography; Facebook marketing for business workshop by Taylor Made Marketing and a gourmet barbecue for six cooked by New England Independent candidate Tony Windsor and assisted by Tim Duddy.
“This is just the beginning.
“As new pledges come in they will be promoted on the neighbourhood centre website at http://www.snrc.com.au/#!skills-auction/qrun3”
The auction will take place at the Scone RSL Club, kicking off at 7pm with a Yabbi Race, so arrive early and back a winner.
Entry is $10 at the door but it could be wise to register sooner or book a table to be a part of the night.
Bring your own basket supper, no BYO (including soft drink) – all drinks to be purchased at bar.
Phone Belinda or Lee on 6545 2562 to book a table.
