THE Scone Mustangs Junior Football Club made its mark at the Fast Five5 Gala Day at Speers Point on Sunday.
The local organisation took a handful of five and six-year-old players to the popular tournament – to fine-tune their skills.
And, they certainly produced the goods on the day.
“The kids all had such a fabulous time, winning the first three fixtures by impressive margins and tying in the final match,” Scone Junior Football Club’s Heidi Rumsby said.
“We, again, had no reserves, so the boys made a huge effort to play all four of the games.
“Fast Five5 is a great concept with no outs and a super-paced encounter.”
The next gala day will take place at Speers Point on Sunday, July 31; and again on August 14 for the older age groups.
