
THREE fresh faces have been elected as part of the new-look Upper Hunter Shire Council.
Sue Abbott, James Burns and Joshua Brown will join six other experienced councillors at the first council meeting on Monday, September 26.
The returning councillors are Lee Watts, Maurice Collison, Wayne Bedggood, Ron Campbell, Kiwa Fisher, and Lorna Driscoll.
Counting of the votes was completed at the weekend, with the nine elected councillors set to represent the region for the next four years.
The main agenda at the first meeting of the new council will be the election of a mayor, with all councillors casting their vote.
