FROM your favourite carols to great food and family fun – the St Joseph’s High School Christmas pageant will have something for everyone.
Everyone is invited to the annual Aberdeen event, which will begin at 5.30pm on Thursday.
For 25 years, locals have enjoyed the festive atmosphere at the high school’s event.

The fun will start with entertainment and activities on the front oval.
And, at sunset, the feature event Christmas pageant will begin.
All students at the school have an opportunity to showcase their talents, whatever they may be.
From music and dance to fashion and cooking – pupils of all ages will have their skills on display.
Teacher Sarah Thomas said it was great way to bring the community together.
“There will be pre-pageant acts, which is the students performing music, drama, and cheer leading – pretty much any talents they can display and perform on stage,” she said.
“And then we have the nativity scene.
“Because we’re a catholic school it’s kind of the crux of Christmas.
“The drama students perform the nativity scene, and then we have the year 7 and 8 choir – they perform the Christmas carols.”
Santa Clause will be making a visit to the school for the party, and there will be arts and crafts on show, a chocolate wheel, raffles, a sausage sizzle, nachos, pasta, and more.
“There will be a St Vincent de Paul stall, [where] baked goods will be for sale and all the donations go back to St Vincent de Paul,” Ms Thomas said.
“It’s kind of our gesture of giving back to the community and remembering the true meaning of Christmas.”
Entry is $2, or $5 for a family.
The extravaganza is a highlight on the school’s yearly calendar and will include all grades and a wide range of departments on display throughout the evening.
