THE wait is finally over for pupils, who received their HSC results today.
And, for Scone Grammar School, there was plenty of cause for celebration, according to principal Paul Smart.
“In 2016, we had 30 students sitting the HSC examinations,” he said.
“This morning (Thursday) we are delighted with the six Band 6 results.
“Twenty per cent of the overall results were Band 5 or Band 6.
“It is important for us to recognise the achievements of all our Year 12 students, as they have all succeeded in achieving an HSC.
“As a school, we are very proud of the results across a wide range of subjects.
“Eight of the senior class have already received early entry offers to a range of universities and one student has been nominated for Encore, the HSC Music Showcase performances, in Sydney next year.
“We congratulate all of our students and wish them well in their future endeavours.”
