Local residents will be able to satisfy their tastebuds, and enjoy a cuppa, at the Uniting Church Hall in Kingdon Street on Thursday, May 25.
The event is taking place from 9am until noon – and everyone is invited to join the group to help raise money in a bid to beat cancer.
“There’ll be a trading table with homemade cakes, slices and craft for sale,” president June Day said.
“So, we’re hoping to send a generous donation to Cancer Council NSW, which will assist them with research.
“The rest of the funds will stay locally.
“It’s become a big function on our calendar.
“And, our volunteers will be identified on the day by their yellow aprons.”
More than 120 community members attended last year’s event, with in excess of $1000 in door takings and donations being collected.
