Oscar winners Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin team up as lifelong buddies.
They decide to buck retirement, and step off the straight-and-narrow for the first time in their lives, when their pension fund becomes a corporate casualty.
Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, the three lifelong pals risk it all, by embarking on a daring bid to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money.
“The stars are such professionals, are so enormously charismatic and have such lovely chemistry with each other, it's hard not to be charmed by their screen presence,” Scone Films’ Catherine Boulton said.
Going In Style, rated M, will screen this Friday at 7.30pm at the pop-up cinema at the Senior Citizen's Centre, Oxford Road.
Entry is open to all at $12.
There is limited seating, so to be sure of entry, advance tickets can be purchased from Hunt a Book, Scone.
“As always, there is a warm welcome for everyone,” Ms Boulton said.
“You don’t have to be a member.
“Come with friends or on your own and make new friends there.
“For insurance requirements, under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.”
