St Joseph's High School, Aberdeen, narrowly misses Country Cup

ST Joseph’s High School, Aberdeen, narrowly missed the “choccies” at Apex Park, Dubbo, on Wednesday.

The school’s under-13 rugby league tag faced Kiama High School in the final of the Country Cup.

And, despite a spirited effort, St Joseph’s succumbed to its rivals 22-10.

Some of the best school-aged rugby league talent in NSW was on display at the prestigious Country Cup and Small Schools Knockout Finals.

“It was a great effort from the boys to make it that far,” a CRL spokesperson said.

So, the lads from Aberdeen should hold their heads high.
