Jess McLeish from McLeish Wines in the Hunter Valley will host the evening – showcasing the estate’s wine selection to guests.
The evening will feature canapes and champagne followed by a five course dinner with wines to match.
Tammy Selwood from The Cottage said it is the fourth wine dinner that has been held at The Cottage to date.
“The evening will be quite intimate, with the number of guests capped to 60 – but there are are still seats available,” she said.
“There will be the opportunity to try a variety of wines of which are matched to each course.”
McLeish Estate is Australia’s Most Awarded Boutique Winery, taking out the top award for Australia’s White Wine of the Year in 2014 and a trophy for the world’s best semillon at the London International Wine Challenge last year.
The cost is $160 per person with champagne and canapes at 6:30pm for a 7pm start.
The Cottage Scone is again a state finalist this year for the Best Regional Steak Restaurant, after taking out the title in 2016.
“We are heading to the awards in Sydney on Monday night, and we are quite confident,” Mrs Selwood said.
