A 21-year-old man has been charged with matters before the court after being caught speeding with a suspended Learner drivers licence in Scone.

On November 12, the accused was driving a white Ford Falcon sedan when it turned left out of Gundy Road onto Kelly Street in Scone.
At the time police were directly behind the accused and could hear the acceleration of the vehicle and see it was travelling quicker than the speed limit.
Police have turned left out of Gundy Road and sped after the accused to stop him and question him in regards to his manner of driving.
The accused handed police a New South Wales Learner drivers licence which was later revealed to be endorsed suspended.
Checks on the vehicle revealed that the registration was cancelled on the October 17 2017 due to fine default.
The accused was issued an infringement notice in relation to the unregistered vehicle and the owner of the vehicle was notified by police of his suspension and vehicle registration cancellation.
Woman books date in court for mid-range PCA
A 42-year-old woman from Scone will appear at Scone Local Court later this month after being charged with Mid Range Drink Driving.
On November 11 at about 11:50pm police were patrolling Liverpool Street in Scone and stopped the accused for the purpose of a random breath test.
The accused was subjected to a roadside breath test that returned a positive result for alcohol.
The woman was placed under arrest for the purpose of a breath analysis at Scone Police Station which revealed a positive result of 0.135 grams of alcohol in 210 litres of breath.
Police also conducted checks on the vehicle that revealed it was unregistered.
The accused was issued Field Court Attendance notice for the offence of Mid Range PCA and use of an unregistered registrable class A motor vehicle and licence was immediately suspended.
