And, the jolly man in the red suit has plenty of treats to give away thanks to the Kingdon Ponds Rural Fire Brigade’s annual lolly run.
Santa will be making an early Christmas appearance as he rolls into town on Sunday December 17 and returns on December 22 and 23.
Keep an eye out for not one but two rural fire brigade trucks this year as they aim to cover as many streets as possible.
But, Santa won’t be riding in the back this year instead opting for a more comfortable front seat trip.
Don Mclean from the Kingdon Ponds Brigade said the lolly run is their major fundraiser for the year.
“This year the event will go for three days, as the town is getting bigger,” he said.
“While all lollies are given out for free we also accept donations from the community as we drive around.
“We ask the community to be patient as it takes time to cover the whole town but we will endeavour to go down every street.”
Mr Mclean said it will be easy to hear the trucks coming from the sound of Christmas music and sirens.
“We would like to thank everyone that donated last year – as that goes towards this year’s lollies,” he said.
