The carols have been running for 22 years and over time have grown to become a much loved evening not just for residents, but their families and members of the community.
The Scone Singers provided the songs, along with members of Scone Uniting and Scone Anglican Church.
Led by Susan Davis, the Scone Singers spread the Christmas cheer well into the evening – singing carols that tell the story of the birth of baby Jesus, such as Silent Night, Away in a Manger and Joy to the World.
The group celebrates 21 years of in the community next year and took the opportunity to thank everyone for their attendance.
“We hope we have given you lots of joy,” they said.
The children also had the opportunity to participate in a short performance telling the story of the Nativity of Jesus, while The Lions Club of Scone had the barbeque in full swing and Strathearn provided the tea and cold drinks.
