Neighbourhood Centre manager Lee Watts said the auction fundraiser is coming together with all items and skills donated to go under the hammer.
“The event is to raise much needed funds for the centre to keep the doors open five days a week,” she said.
“Funding is scarce and the competition for grants is overwhelming against a small rural centre.”
The auction is in its second year and is shaping up to be another fun night thanks to donations from local individuals and businesses.
SNRC offers a range of services and programs including a pantry for of people experiencing hardship, Trainlink agency, computer training, community activities and equipment hire.
“We are really looking forward to building a bike park for the littlies at Amaroo park this year thanks to Social Housing Funds,” Lee Watts said.
Tickets can be purchased at the door on the night for $10 or online at Try Bookings https://www.trybooking.com/TRFC.
A table of 10 can be booked now at a discounted price of $90.
“Keep an eye on our website www.snrc.com.au/skills-auction which will be updated regularly with new items, and posts will continue to appear on our Facebook page.
