The shop on Kelly Street, Scone offers anything from ladies and men’s clothing, children’s toys, books, Christmas gifts, crockery and more from as little as a few dollars.
Around 22 volunteers make up the Scone team, which on average raises $48,000 a year.
“The shop does a wonderful service for the community of Scone,” Scone Red Cross area representative Susanna O’Brien said.
“And, every time one of our volunteers reaches a milestone in their service this is a small way of saying thank you.”
Five members of the community were awarded with their Red Cross long service badges last week including Gay Rutland, Joyce Mello and Morna Boyle for 10 years of service each and Marg Sauders and Lorna Clydsdale for 20 years each.
The badges are worn for official occasions such as World Red Cross Day and Anzac Day.
