The Murrurundi & District Historical Society is presenting ‘The Eclectic Artist’ – an exhibition of Drake-Brockman’s work.
The Murrurundi identity recently captured national attention when she was the subject of a portrait by fellow local artist David Darcy, named a finalist in the Archibald Prize.
President of the Murrurundi and District Historical Society Des Duggan says the art show will offer everything from painting and modelling to political comment.
“Charlotte has everything from woven baskets, boats, refugees, Noah's Ark and hand-made shoes along with paintings,” he said.
The exhibition will be officially opened on Friday night and run until September 30 at the Church Hall Exhibition Centre alongside the Museum in Mayne Street Murrurundi (The New England Highway).
Entry is $5 and the hall is open every weekend from 10am until 1pm.
