Community organisations in the Upper Hunter Shire who run cultural or art projects are invited to apply for funding from Upper Hunter Shire Council before August 31 2018.
Each year council awards dozens of Cultural Activity Grants (CAGs) to assist local non-profit organisations to promote and develop cultural and art resources and activities in the community.
They are open to incorporated, non-profit community based organisations from within the Upper Hunter Shire for innovative projects and partnerships.
Last year grants went to preschools, school P&Cs, festivals, historical societies and museums, and many other community organisations.
Successful projects will be announced in late September.
The application form and guidelines are available on the Upper Hunter Shire Council website at http://upperhunter.nsw.gov.au/cultural-activity-grants.aspx or from council offices.
For further information about these grants contact Community Services on 6540 1153.
